Payreq is a secure digital service used by participating organisations to send bills, notices, pay statements, tax documents and other important documents.
When you create a Payreq account, you receive a Payreq Mailbox. This is where you manage your subscriptions, retrieve your documents and make payments. The documents sent to you are held in its Inbox. Depending on the organisation, you may also be able to receive documents by email, through an accounting integration or by another delivery method.
How it works
- Create your Payreq account at go.payreq.com.
- Subscribe to the organisation that will send your documents. You may need an account number, employee number, postal code or other information so the organisation can confirm your identity.
- Choose from the delivery methods offered by that organisation.
- Wait for the organisation to approve the subscription, if approval is required.
- Payreq will notify you when a new document arrives. You can then sign in to view or download it.
What a subscription means
A subscription is the secure connection between your Payreq account and the organisation sending your documents. Creating a Payreq account does not automatically connect you to an organisation.
Only organisations you have subscribed to can send documents through that connection. The delivery methods and verification details vary by organisation.
How long your documents stay available
Payreq keeps the documents sent to you for seven years.
If documents are ever due to be removed, you will be notified and given an opportunity to retrieve them first.
Download anything you need to keep for your own records rather than relying on Payreq as your only copy. See Downloading your bills and documents.
Security
Payreq is committed to the highest standards of data security and privacy. Our platform maintains ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 1 certifications, ensuring that your documents and data are managed within a globally recognised, secure, and auditable framework.
If you need help with a document
Contact the issuing organisation if the document contains incorrect information, is a duplicate or has not been issued. Payreq Support can help with access to Payreq, subscriptions and technical problems with the service.
