What does "Archived" mean in the mail status?

Modified on Fri, 24 Oct at 2:48 PM

Mail is placed in the Archive when it is sent but there are no active subscriptions available at the time of sending.

  • Archived mail is not lost—it is stored and will automatically appear in the customer’s Payreq Smart Mailbox if they later register.

  • Once this happens, the mail status updates to “Sent (via archive)” and the customer can view the document.

  • Archive is useful for storing historical communications for future retrieval.

No further action is required unless you want to notify a customer that historical mail is available after their registration.
