Managing subscribed email addresses

Modified on Mon, 7 Sep at 4:12 PM

The email addresses attached to a subscription control where that organisation sends documents or notifications. They are separate from the email address you use to sign in to Payreq.

Add or remove an address

  1. Sign in at go.payreq.com.
  2. Open Subscriptions.
  3. Select the organisation, then select the subscription you want to change.
  4. Select Add/Remove Emails.
  5. Add or remove the required addresses.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Complete any verification step sent to a newly added address.

Changes apply only to the selected subscription. If the address is used for more than one subscription, review each subscription separately.

To change the email address you use to sign in, update your account email instead.

If you receive documents by email only

If you do not have a Payreq Mailbox subscription with that organisation and receive documents as an email attachment instead, the email address is the subscription rather than a setting on it. There is no way to change the address in place.

To move to a different address, stop the existing subscription and create a new one against the new address. Complete both changes together and expect the organisation to review the new request as it would any new subscription.

If you hold a large number of email-only subscriptions and your business address is changing, contact Payreq Support before you start rather than working through them one at a time.

How many addresses you can use

A Payreq Mailbox subscription can send copies to up to five email addresses. An email-only subscription supports one address.
