Troubleshooting a pending or failed subscription

Modified on Mon, 7 Sep at 4:13 PM

A subscription may remain pending while the issuing organisation verifies your request. A failed request usually means the information could not be matched to its records. You can correct the details and try again.

Check the details you entered

  • Use the account number, employee number, customer name or postal code from a recent document.
  • Enter leading zeros, spaces and punctuation exactly as required.
  • Make sure you selected the correct organisation and service.
  • If your organisation offers several services, check that you chose the one for your account or employment type.

Check your email

Look for a verification or approval message from Payreq. Check your junk or spam folder as well as your main email folder. Complete any action requested in that message.

If the organisation's records are wrong

Contact the issuing organisation to update its records. Payreq cannot change an account number, employee record, customer name or postal address held by another organisation.

If the subscription still does not work

Contact Payreq Support and include the organisation name, the service you selected, the status shown in Payreq and a screenshot of any error. Do not include passwords or full payment-card details.
