The individual file names of documents downloaded from Payreq will vary from Mailer to Mailer, and some of them may be quite long. In rare cases, if you try to open a PDF with a particularly long name from within a compressed (or "zipped") folder, you will receive an error message:
The easiest way to avoid this error is to simply unzip the folder first by using Windows' "Extract All" feature.
- Locate the compressed file in Windows File Explorer
It will be in the same default location as where your other downloads are, and is often available from within your web browser: - Right-click on the compressed (.zip) file, and select the "Extract All" option
You can choose where you would like the new, uncompressed file. The pre-filled location is the same as the compressed file by default. - You will then have a normal file folder containing your documents ready for use!
